Do you groom cats?

Yes! We have one groomer, Tara, who works with cats. Our cat package includes bath (or dry shampoo depending on what the cat tolerates), nail clipping, ear cleaning, a brush out, and a full haircut. It starts at $170 plus tax depending on size and coat condition. For the same package but without a haircut it starts at $140 plus tax.

What do you charge?

For information on services offered and price ranges please see the Services Page.

Do you do just nail trims?

We now offer nail trim & playtime combination visits. Please see the Services Page for more information.

Do I have to have a driveway for you to park in?

Not necessarily. Driveway parking is preferred as it is the easiest and safest for your pet but if there is safe on street parking (i.e. in a neighborhood) that is absolutely acceptable as well. Also parking lots for apartment complexes and such are fine.

Available parking needs to be level as it is difficult to work in the van on an incline/hill.

Please note we will NOT parallel park the van or park on busy streets for both your pet’s safety and ours.

Where do you groom? Can I see your van?

All grooming is done in our state-of-the-art self-contained mobile salons. You are more than welcome to have a tour of the van before grooming!

Isn’t it too cold in the winter & too hot in the summer to groom in a van?

The mobile salons are climate controlled and kept perfectly comfortable no matter the weather outside.

Where do you get your water & power?

The vans have fresh water tanks that are filled every morning and a generator to run all electrical equipment. Don’t worry there is no need to plug in; the vans are totally self-contained.

What records will you need to see?

We just need to see current rabies vaccination paperwork for your pets. If your pet cannot get a rabies vaccination we need to have a written note from the vet exempting your pet from the vaccination for medical reasons.

My dog was just vaccinated can I have an appointment today?

For the safety of your pet we require a 24 hour window between vaccination and grooming. Grooming can increase the risk of your pet having a reaction to a vaccination.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

We am happy to accommodate you if your schedule changes. We have a 24/7 voicemail box. Please call and leave a message or send me a text as soon as you know you cannot keep your appointment. We request 24 hours notice to change an appointment whenever possible.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time there is a $25 fee.

There will be a “No-Show” fee of 50% of the groom fee if we arrive for an appointment and there is no one there.

Fees payable when scheduling your next appointment.

What if I am running late?

Please call or text as soon as possible to let us know. We allow a 15 minute window if you are running late and no one else is available to give us access to your pet. After 15 minutes if your pet is not available to start grooming it will be considered a no-show and incur the 50% no-show fee.

After 15 minutes we can no longer hold your slot and we will fill your appointment spot with someone from the waiting list.

Do I have to be home while you groom?

For the first groom you do need to be home so we can discuss grooming needs and go over the services afterwards to make sure all your expectations are met.

If you are a regular client we are happy to take care of your pets while you are otherwise occupied. All we require is access to your pet & house so we can return your pet safely after the groom. You can pay in advance or leave payment for us to collect at the time of the groom.

Will you groom my senior pet?

Whether or not a pet is up to being groomed will have to be decided on an individual basis. We do not have a set age limit. As long as your senior dog can be safely and comfortable handled and stand on its own for a reasonable period of time (We are always happy to give pets breaks as needed) they can likely be groomed.

Before each groom we check your pet’s skin, coat, ears, eyes, nails, and teeth. looking for anything out of the ordinary and making sure it is safe to groom him or her. This check helps us determine what is best for the dog as far as products and services as well.

My pet has health issues will you still groom him/her?

Whether your pet can safely be groomed if it has health issues will have to be determined on an individual basis. Health concerns such as allergies, and arthritis can easily be worked with. Certain health issues such as heart murmurs and seizures will require written paperwork from your vet clearing them for grooming. If you have concerns and to ask specifically about your pet please contact us directly.

My dog has fleas! Can you help?

If you know your dog has fleas please treat with an oral (we recommend getting Bravecto from your vet) or topical treatment as recommended by a veterinarian then call and set up an appointment with us for at least 48 hours after treatment. We will use an all natural flea and tick relief shampoo to help ensure all fleas are dead and to help soothe your pet’s skin. Also be sure to treat your house, other pets, your dog’s bedding, and collar/harness/leash.
